Let's Try This Again: Inspired

Last night I attended at Social Media event here in Miami, Fl and I didn't even know I would be attending it till 15 minuets before it started.

My friend @GrantStern and I were going to meet at Mike's Pub at The Venetia in downtown Miami to watch The Heat play The Pacers. As he's heading over to meet me, he calls and tells me to come downstairs so he can pick me up and we'll watch the game during this Social Media event called #SMCSF being held at The Social Lounge located in Wynwood.

Fastforward....The topic of the night for the groups discussion was Blogging, and the panelists discussed how they go about blogging and how they got started and whatnot.

(Wow...my A.D.D. is making me wanna make this short lol!)

Long story short, I was inspired to start blogging again, and hopefully this time I will keep up with it, wish me luck.

New Music: EMPIRE OF THE SUN/ We Are The People

Yet another great band the U.S. has yet to pick up on. These guys are from Australia and had their debut album released close to the end of last year. This from what I gather, is their second single off their album "Walking On A Dream"

There's a nice buzz on the internet about them, if not this album, I'm guessing their sophomore album will be the one that gives them a boost in the US. Meanwhile the Aussies and Brits enjoy this on their radio stations.

The video is great, visually stimulating and interesting to watch. It was shot on location in Mexico and directed by Josh Logue.

New Music: MANDO DIAO/ Dance With Somebody

This is a song I heard recently and I was singing along instantly. Catchy tune, can't wait to hear it live or in a club. These guys have been around for quite a few years, in fact about 10 and from what I've gathered they have a huge fan base from their home country of Sweden, Germany, and Japan.

So, what took so long for them to finally get airplay here in the U.S.?

My First Post

Well, this will hopefully be the beginning of a great blog that you will enjoy. I needed an outlet to let people know about music, videos, and any other random thoughts I have. I tell all my friends about most of the things I listen to or movies I watch, etc. I just wanted to broaden my audience. I really feel there are more people in the world who will enjoy the music and other things I will post here, so please enjoy and check back frequently.
